NEW Training Courses - Diesel Systems & Repair - Monday, October 19, 2009

Due to popular demand Sykes-Pickavant have introduced NEW diesel engine training courses in order to further support, and provide even more help and assistance to all its customers.

Diesel engine technology has moved on greatly in recent years, particularily since the introduction of electronically controlled fuel systems. Traditionally, many independent garages have seen Diesel Diagnostics and Repairs as being the role of ‘diesel specialists’, and due to the lack of readily available diesel test and repair products, have been hesitant to view Diesel Diagnostics and Repairs as potentially profitable work.
Sykes-Pickavant has invested heavily in recent years in developing suitable Diagnostic and Repair tools, to allow the independent technician to be able to work on modern diesel systems. To further enhance that programme, we are now pleased to launch two dedicated Diesel Training Courses, aimed at providing independent garage technicians with the knowledge and skill to deal with common diesel system Diagnostics and Repairs.

DIESEL 1 - An Introduction to Electronically Controlled Diesel Systems – One day

Sykes in Exhibition – Automechanika Germany - Wednesday, July 08, 2009

SP had an extremely busy week last week at the Automechanika Fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

This was the first opportunity since the management acquisition in 2006 for SP to introduce the company to European customers both old and new.

On show were a host of new products, all of which shall be available in the UK from October onwards, and many new European distributor contacts were attracted due to the innovation and uniqueness of many of SP’s “Workshop Solutions”

More than 166,000 Visitors attended the six day exhibition and SP was extremely pleased at being able to take part and is already planning for a significantly increased presence at the next Automechanika in 2010.
